2 Actors of Drug Makers Cookies Arrested in South Jakarta

Jurnal Utama. South Jakarta Mapolres Narcotics Unit arrested two young men with the initials RN and DM related to drug cases. They are known to make a new type of drug in the form of a cake called 'Cookies'.

"The catch of December 12, 2018 around the early hours at 1:00 a.m. WIB, Satresnarkoba received a report from the public that there was a trade in food cakes circulated by two young men," said Narcotics Chief Commissioner Vivick Tjangkung told reporters in South Jakarta Mapolres, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta On Thursday (12/13/2018).

Vivick said then RN and DM, who were students, were caught in boarding houses in the Kebayoran Lama area along with evidence in the form of drug cookies and tobacco. He explained the drugs These cookies are made by suspects from simple ingredients and easy processes.

"Use basic ingredients of ordinary flour, 70% alcoholic liquid, and surprisingly, a chemical called NM is purchased online from China," Vivick said.

"The production is simple, like an ordinary cake, mixed with its own instinct, made into a dough, printed with a dough grinder. After grinding, then printed with a cake printer," he said.

In one making, Vivick said the two suspects could produce 1,000 pieces of drug cookies which were then divided equally to be sold at the university where the perpetrators studied in South Jakarta. One pack of cake, according to Vivick, is sold for Rp. 100,000.

"His recognition was produced by 1,000 pieces, then divided by 2 with his colleagues, so there were 500 pieces circulating among the students, the cost of production was Rp. 2 million, profit of Rp. 12 million," Vivick said.

Then Vivick also explained the effects after consuming this type of cake. According to him, one small bite of this cake can cause hallucinations for 1 hour.

"One small bite has a high effect, it can take 1 hour to fly and dizzy. One cake can be used with 15 to 10 bites," Vivick said.

For his actions, the two perpetrators of this type of cake drug maker will be snared by Food Law Number 18 Year 2016 Article 140, with the threat of 2 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 4 billion. Vivick admitted that this type of drug is not in the category of the Narcotics Law.

"Negative lab results are indeed negative in the Narcotics Law, this candy bar is negative, but we can put this into the Food Law," Vivick said.
